CATARACT
SURGERY

Having your cataract surgery by Marc Guerin at the Mater Private gives you the  peace of mind  that your surgery will be carried out by a fully qualified  Consultant Eye Surgeon  who has performed over 5000 operations.

CORNEAL TRANSPLANT

Mr Guerin performs full thickness and partial thickness corneal transplantation

at the Mater Private including DSEK and DMEK surgeries.

KERATOCONUS TREATMENT

Prevention is better than cure and  Collagen Cross Linking is now the worldwide treatment to stop the progression of keratoconus.  Mr Guerin performs collagen cross linking at the Mater Private Hospital.

For patients who are too short or long sighted for laser eye surgery,   we also offer ICL lens implantation.

Mr Marc Guerin is a Consultant Eye Surgeon in the Mater University and Private Hospitals, Dublin.  
Providing a comprehensive ophthalmology service, Mr Guerin specialises in micro incision cataract surgery, corneal transplantation and bladeless advanced laser eye surgery, as well as management of eye diseases.
